Rain has marred almost all games in Colombo and dark clouds loom over the Asia Cup 2023 finale too. India are set to face the defending champions Sri Lanka on September 17 in the title clash but there is a high possibility that the day may see rain interruptions.

Though the organisers have reserved a day for the final, unfortunately, the weather report for the Monday also does not look good. In case the match is washed out on both days, who will be crowned as the winner?

As per the Asian Cricket Council rules to get the result of the final match, both the teams will have to play a minimum of 20-over per side of cricket, otherwise both the teams will share the Asia Cup trophy.
