And the all-rounder's brilliance was on show once again when he took a blinder to dismiss West Indies' Alick Athanaze.
Athanaze, who was looking in good touch, hit a fierce cut shot in the air. And Jadeja, who was fielding at backward point, jumped high with both feet off the ground, to snaffle a very tough chance.
His brilliant piece of fielding also earned debutant Mukesh Kumar his maiden ODI wicket.
