Ahead of India's blockbuster clash against arch-rivals Pakistan, a Gujarati jeweller Rauf Sheikh has made a World Cup trophy weighing 0.9 mg in Ahmedabad. He claims that this is the world's lightest World Cup trophy which is made out of gold and wants to get it registered in the Guinness Book of World Records as well.

Rauf wishes to present this trophy as a gift to Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma.

Rauf Sheikh said, "I had made a trophy in 2014 whose weight was 1.200 mg. After this, breaking my own record, I made a trophy weighing 1 gram in 2019. Now in 2023, I have made a trophy weighing 0.9 mg."
