Contrary to reports, sports apparel giant Puma has refuted claims that their association with Virat Kohli will be coming to an end.

Commenting on the floating news around PUMA ambassador Kohli, Karthik Balagopalan, Managing Director of PUMA India said, 'PUMA’s relationship with Virat Kohli is long-standing and continues.'

Kohli's partnership with Puma began in 2017, which was reportedly valued at an impressive ₹110 crore. Kohli had become first Indian sportsperson to land such a significant deal with a single brand.

However, a few media reports suggested that Virat was set to transition to a new venture. It was said that Indian star was poised to become the face of Agilitas Sports Pvt Ltd, a company founded by former Puma India Managing Director Abhishek Ganguly in May 2023.

All those speculations were put to rest by the Managing Director of PUMA India.

Virat is currently on a break from cricket due to personal reasons and has not played any match in the 5-match Test series against India.
