Viacom18 bags TV and digital rights for India's home matches for next 5 years

Mukesh Ambani-owned Viacom18 bagged the TV and digital rights in the BCCI auction on August 31.

With this, TV channel Sports18 and OTT platform Jio Cinema will stream India's home matches for the next 5 years till March 2028.

According to a report on Cricbuzz, Viacom18 is expected to shell out INR 67.8 crore per game and will broadcast 88 games, starting with the India-Australia ODI series in September 2023.
