In an amusing twist in the Tamil Nadu Premier League, the two participating teams Dindigul Dragons and Ba11sy Trichy appealed for reviews on the same delivery by Dindigul's Ravichandran Ashwin on Wednesday.
During the 13th over, Ashwin bowled to Trichy's R Rajkumar and the batter was given caught behind by the umpire.
Dissastisfied, Rajkumar immediately asked for DRS.
The 'out' decision was then overruled by the third umpire, who said that the spike noticed was not from the ball hitting the bat but rather the bat touching the ground.
Moments after the dismissal was reversed, Ashwin called for a second DRS challenging the third umpire's decision.
The spinner contested that the ball did come in contact with the bat, however, the third umpire did not budge and Dindiguls lost the review.
Eventually, Dindigul Dragons went on to win the game by six wickets.
