After a successful stint in IPL 2022 as Rajasthan Royals bowling coach, Lasith Malinga will help his national side for the limited-overs series against Australia.

Sri Lankan board appointed their legend as 'bowling strategy coach' for the three T20 matches and five ODIs.

In a statement, the board said that Malinga's vast experience and renowned death-bowling expertise, especially in the T20 format will help the team immensely. The T20 series will kick-start on June 7 at Colombo followed by ODIs amid Sri Lanka's deepening economic crisis.
