Former Board of Control for Cricket in India president Sourav Ganguly has pointed out that India's premier leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal's inclusion in the Indian team has become a very on-and-off affair in recent times.

Speaking on Star Sports, Ganguly highlighted that despite Chahal being extremely consistent in shorter formats, he somehow misses big tournaments. Lauding him, Ganguly added, 'it is important to keep an eye on him as well'

While Yuzvendra Chahal picked 12 wickets in 8 games in the 2019 World Cup, he was not selected for the 2021 edition of the T20 World Cup and did not play any match in the 2022 edition of the marquee tournament.
