Shane Warne's eldest daughter Brooke Warne has lashed out at Channel 9 for dramatising her father's life in a two-part miniseries.

In an Instagram post, Brooke targeted the network and wrote," Do any of you have any respect for Dad? Or his family?"

"Who did so much for Channel [Nine] and now you want to dramatise his life and our families life 6 months after he has passed away? You are beyond disrespectful", she added.

Channel 9 has been planning a two-part biopic on the legendary leg-spinner, calling it a celebration of the life of "a man who lived life large and loved passionately".

Warne was a cricket commentator and analyst for Channel Nine for more than 23 years.

He died on the Thai resort island of Koh Samui at the age of 52 on March 4.
