Rohit Sharma was named as the skipper, while Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Mohammad Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Shami were also included.

Apart from them, Australia's World Cup final hero Travis Head along with teammate Adam Zampa were also part of the team.

While Heinrich Klaasen and Marco Jansen were the two South Africans, Daryl Mitchell was the only New Zealand cricketer to feature in the XI.
