Renuka Singh, Richa Ghosh left out as India name women's team for Bangladesh tour

Right-arm pacer Renuka Singh and wicketkeeper-batter Richa Ghosh were left out, while young off-spinner Shreyanka Patil was ignored as BCCI named an 18-member Indian women's squad for the limited overs tour of Bangladesh, starting July 9 in Mirpur.

Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the side, while Smriti Mandhana has been named as her deputy.

The Indian team is scheduled to play 3 T20Is and as many ODIs against Bangladesh. All six matches will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
