Rashid Khan to return to competitive cricket with T20Is against Ireland, set to play full IPL 2024

Afghanistan maestro Rashid Khan is all set to return to competitive cricket during the 3-match T20I series against Ireland, commencing March 15. 

Khan features in the Afghanistan squad announced on March 14, following a long absence from the field, owing to a back injury and subsequent surgery. 

The leg-spinner missed out on the T20 leagues including the BBL, SA20 and PSL apart from national commitments against UAE, India, Sri Lanka, including recently concluded Tests, ODIs versus Ireland. 

Following the T20Is, Rashid Khan is expected to link up with Gujarat Titans for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League.
