After Jason Roy, another English cricketer is all set to get a lucrative multi-year contract by an IPL side.
According to a report in the Telegraph, Rajasthan Royals is all set to make that offer to England's white-ball skipper. Though the exact amount is not known, it is expected to be a multi-million-pound deal.
'It is understood that the offer to Buttler is yet to be formally tabled, and it's unclear whether the T20 World Cup winning captain intends to accept the deal,' the report added.
Apart from the IPL, Buttler also plays for Paarl Royals, which is also owned by Rajasthan Royals, in the SA20. RR also own Barbados Royals in Caribbean Premier League.
It is feared that a lot of top international players might forego their central contracts to sign a football club-like deal with a single franchise to appear in various leagues.
