As the much-anticipated India vs Pakistan clash at ODI World Cup 2023 is all set to be preponed from October 15 to October 14, a few more changes are expected in the schedule.

Pakistan was also scheduled to take on Sri Lanka on October 12, but according to a report in the Indian Express, that clash will also be brought forward a couple of days to October 10. This will give Pakistan sufficient travel and training time before they take on India.

The report further claimed that the Sri Lanka cricket board also doesn't have any objection to the proposed change.

Following this, the Pakistan Cricket Board gave a green signal to the BCCI and ICC to prepone the IND vs PAK match.

Interestingly, there will be three matches now on October 14. Apart from the India vs Pakistan tie, Bangladesh and New Zealand play a day game in Chennai before defending champions England face Afghanistan in Delhi.
