Jasprit Bumrah remains the top-ranked Test bowler, while Ravindra Jadeja holds onto his No. 1 spot in the all-rounders’ category, according to the latest ICC rankings released on Wednesday.
Bumrah, who achieved a career-high rating of 907 points ahead of the fifth and final Border-Gavaskar Test against Australia in January, has now surpassed that with 908 points.
This makes him the highest-ranked Indian bowler ever. Australia’s Pat Cummins (841) and South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada (837) sit in second and third positions, respectively.
Pakistan's Noman Ali (761) broke into the top-10 after an impressive six-wicket haul in the first Test against West Indies in Multan.
The all-rounders' top-10 list remains unchanged, with Jadeja retaining the top spot with 400 rating points. South Africa’s Marco Jansen (294) and Bangladesh’s Mehidy Hasan (263) are in second and third place.
