While all eyes will be set on the captain of the new IPL team Gujarat Titans, Hardik Pandya feels that he is not here to prove anything in the 2022 season of the IPL. Titans will play their first game against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on March 28th.
Although the 27-year-old all-rounder is geared up for the 15th season of the cash-rich league, he says that there is no expectation as such and his team will only focus on improving.
'We are here to make sure the environment is right and players can flourish, said Hardik in a video posted by the team on its Twitter.

Pandya has been off the Indian Team's radar lately due to the back injury that he suffered in 2019. Since then, Pandya has struggled to maintain consistency in his form and his place in the team. He last played for India in the T20 World Cup.
