With a triumphant victory over Sri Lanka, guided by Kuldeep Yadav's 4/43, India entered the Asia Cup 2023 final on September 12.

Skipper Rohit Sharma was all praises for his bowlers after India put up a paltry 213 on the board after opting to bat first.

'It was a good game. For us also to play a game like that under pressure. Challenged a lot of aspects of our game,' Rohit said at the post-match presentation ceremony.

India's bowling attack led by Kuldeep Yadav's 4-fer, tore through the Sri Lankan batting line-up.

Pacers Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya and Mohammed Siraj took 4 wickets among each other while Ravindra Jadeja scalped two.

Sharma stated that 213 was not an easy target to defend adding that the pitch got slightly better towards the end so they had to hold their nerve and bowl consistently.

The Men in Blue bowled out Sri Lanka for 172 in 41.3 overs to finish with 4 points on the Super 4 table.
