Australia's left-arm spinner Ashton Agar has flown back home after he was released from the squad for the remaining two Tests against India.
Agar has returned home without playing a game in India as the Aussies preferred off-spinner Todd Murphy ahead of him in the Nagpur Test.
The 29-year-old again failed to find a place in the line-up in Delhi with the visitors opting for Matthew Kuhnemann’s services instead.
Agar became the third player from Australia's touring squad after David Warner and Josh Hazlewood, both ruled out due to injuries, to go back home mid-series.
Captain Pat Cummins, who has also travelled back, is expected to be back before the Indore Test.
Agar is set to play in Western Australia's next Sheffield Shield game on March 2 and the 50-over Marsh Cup final on March 8.
