With Pakistan's exit from the Asia Cup 2023 after their loss against Sri Lanka on Thursday night, combined with India's impressive run that has propelled them into the tournament's final with a game to spare, the ICC ODI Men's team rankings have witnessed a notable shuffle.

In the latest ODI team rankings, Team India has surged past Pakistan. Seated at the second position presently, India moved ahead of Pakistan after Pakistan's narrow 2-wicket loss to the Islanders in the Asia Cup Super Four encounter.

In the latest rankings, Australia occupy the top spot with a rating of 118, followed by India at the second spot with a rating of 116. Meanwhile, Pakistan has now shifted to the third position with a rating of 115.

The 3-match ODI series between India and Australia which begins on Sep 22, will most likely decide who among the two teams will go into the World Cup as the No. 1 ranked team.
