Everyone has their say when it comes to MS Dhoni's retirement...

While fans do not want to see him go, he himself has said he isn't thinking about his IPL future as of now. Ex-India cricketer Irfan Pathan, however, seems confident about 41-year-old's IPL plans for 2024, at least.

Pathan in a Tweet resonated with what former Chennai player Dwayne Bravo said about Dhoni's IPL journey.

'With impact player rule hopefully this isn’t Dhoni’s last inning at the Chepauk…' said Pathan.

Bravo too had earlier said that the 4-time IPL winning captain can extend his IPL career because of the new impact player rule.

Though Dhoni despite his knee injury did not make use of the rule this season, he can make use of it next season. Apparently, if the CSK skipper wants, next season, Dhoni could continue to lead and keep wickets and could replace himself with an impact player in their batting innings.
