Yash Dayal, who played for the Gujarat Titans in IPL 2023, found himself in the middle of a controversy for an Islamophobic Instagram post.
The pacer had put out a story on the social media platform, which he soon deleted after backlash from fans.
Yash then apologised for the story and clarified that it was posted by mistake.
'Please don't spread hate. I have respect for every community and society,' the note added.
Yash Dayal is infamously remembered for getting hit for 5 consecutive sixes by KKR's Rinku Singh in IPL 2023.
