BCCI President Sourav Ganguly in hospital after getting Covid, brother confirms Dada is stable

Amid the Omicron scare, the BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly has tested positive for Covid-19, his brother confirmed. Snehashish, the former Indian captain's brother told Indian express that he is stable and has only been admitted for precautionary purposes as he underwent angioplasty earlier this year. He further informed that Ganguly is currently in isolation and is admitted to Woodlands Hospital in Kolkata.

It is being reported that the former cricketer who has been travelling a lot as a part of his job, had a mild fever after which he tested positive. His brother had also tested positive for Covid-19 earlier this year.

In January, Dada had been hospitalized after he suffered a heart attack and underwent angioplasty twice a month.

The 49-year-old who has received both the Covid jabs has tested positive for the virus for the second time.
