International Cricket Council (ICC) is looking to investigate serious allegations of fraud and corruption that France Cricket is apparently embroiled in currently.

As per a French media outlet France 24, France Cricket has been fabricating matches and submitting falsified reports to ICC. The report further stated that the body had faked scoresheets of various women's matches that were never held and a number of clubs did not even have a women's team.

While France Cricket has denied the allegations, calling them "fake and baseless", the global cricket body has confirmed that it is looking into the allegations and is gathering information about it.
