Faf du Plessis’s stunning catch in the SA20 game was once again a testimony to his fielding skills. The South African cricketer was seen leaping into the air, stretching his right arm to take a one-handed blinder.

The brilliantly executed catch sent back Dewald Brevis after MI Cape Town had already put up over 200 runs with three overs to spare. Du Plessis, however, failed to shine with the bat and scored just 6 runs.

MI Cape Town posted a huge total of 243 against the Joburg Super Kings. The first innings of the game was powered by MICT opening batters Rassie van der Dussen and Ryan Rickelton, who scored 104 and 98 respectively.

Nandre Burger took two wickets for Joburg Super Kings but also gave away 53 runs in four overs. Lizaad Williams, Romario Shepherd and Imran Tahir took one wicket each.
