India A might have beaten Pakistan A in the group stage of the Emerging Asia Cup 2023, but the boys in green hurt India when it mattered the most.
The Arch-Rivals beat India A by 128 runs to win the title for the 2nd consecutive time and are now the joint-most successful team of the tournament with Sri Lanka.
Batting first, Pakistan A put up a massive 352/8 on the board, thanks to a 71-ball-108 by Tayyab Tahir.
India A's run-chase began on a positive note as the openers put together 64 runs in just 8.3 overs.
Yash Dhull's boys then had a batting collapse as they were bowled out for just 224.
The Boys in Blue missed a chance to end their 10-year drought in the tournament as they last won the Emerging Asia Cup in 2012, which was the inaugural edition.
