SA20 - That's what South Africa's new T20 tournament will be called.
Cricket South Africa announced the name of their all-important T20 league on Tuesday, and the inaugural edition of SA20 will be played in January & February next year.
The player auction for the event will take place on September 19. A total of 33 matches will be played, including 3 knockout matches.
The SA20 squads will have 17 players each and every XI will include at least 7 South Africa-based cricketers.

SA20 is an attempt by Cricket South Africa to ensure the sport's survival in the country and whether the league actually can compete with the UAE-based ILT20 & Australia's BBL, both of which will run simultaneously, remains to be seen.
