As England's white-ball captain Jos Buttler faces up to his own challenge of finding a way to replace Ben Stokes, he believes that the all-rounder's retirement from ODIs should act as a "wake-up call" for the game.

After England's 1st ODI vs South Africa, Buttler said that he's sure there's more to Stokes' retirement than just the hectic cricketing schedule. The new England skipper though believes that their loss in ODI cricket is certainly going to be England's gain in Test cricket as his decision to retire from ODIs will guarantee for a longer Test career.
