The BCCI has confirmed that the inaugural season of the WPL will be played from March 4-26.
The 5-team tournament will entirely be played in Mumbai, with Brabourne Stadium & DY Patil Stadium chosen as the two venues.
The BCCI further revealed more than 1500 players registered for the WPL auction, but a final list will be revealed before the auction on February 13.
