Taijul Islam was the star for Bangladesh as his 10-wicket-haul in the 1st Test helped his side beat New Zealand by 150 runs on Saturday morning.
It was the first Test win over the Kiwis for the Bangla Tigers at home.
The hosts were in command of the Test at stumps on Day 4 as New Zealand still needed 219 more runs to win with just 3 wickets in hand.
Despite Daryl Mitchell's resilient 58 and Tim Southee's quick-fire 34, Bangladesh wrapped up the Kiwis in the 1st session itself.
Taijul Islam, who took 4 wickets in the 1st innings, ended up with figures of 6/75 in the 2nd innings as New Zealand was bowled out for just 181.
