It won't be an Ashes series if the Australian and English media don't get involved and Jonny Bairstow's controversial dismissal in the 2nd Test was a perfect opportunity for the press to take potshots.

After papers in the United Kingdom took a dig at the Australian team for inflicting that runout, the Aussie media hit back by labelling the English team as 'crybabies'.

The West Australian posted a picture of Stokes in nappies with the Ashes urn and a red cricket ball depicting his toys.

As the post went viral, the English Test skipper responded by saying, 'That's definitely not me, since when did I bowl with the new ball.'
