Former India fast bowler Ajit Agarkar has emerged as a front runner for the post of chief selector for Team India.
The position is vacant ever since Chetan Sharma stepped down from the post after a controversial sting operation.
30th June is the cut-off date till BCCI is accepting applications for the last member of the selection panel.
Agarkar had thrown his name in the hat before as well but he wasn't shortlisted.
Other possible candidates are Venkatesh Iyer, VVS Laxman, Anil Kumble and Ravi Shastri.
