The cricket world eagerly waits for every high-octane clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan and it is no different for the 2024 T20 World Cup.

The marquee event has been scheduled to take place in the United States & West Indies in June 2024. According to several reports, the India vs Pakistan game is slated to be held in New York in front of a 34,000-strong audience.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) is planning to construct a portable stadium 30 miles east of New York in Long Island.

In a statement on Sept 20, the international governing body revealed, 'An agreement has been reached for the construction of a 34,000-seat modular stadium in Eisenhower Park, a purpose-built sports and events park in New York.'

The statement also mentioned the three American cities confirmed as hosts for next year's event, Dallas, Florida and New York.

It will be the first time ever the USA will host a cricket world cup, while West Indies has done so in 2010.
