1983 World Cup star Sandeep Patil rushed to hospital after suffering chest pain

1983 World Cup hero Sandeep Patil was rushed to the hospital on Monday night after complaining of chest pain.

66-year-old Patil underwent various tests at a hospital in Andheri and will now undergo angiography on Thursday. 

Speaking to the Times of India, Patil said some calcium deposits were found in the blood vessels and after angiography on Thursday, doctors will decide on the future course of action.

However, the 1983 World Cup star was not rattled by his health issue and says it's a 66-year-old machine that needs servicing. 

Patil, though, stressed that people should be aware of their health issues, stating if someone feels something is wrong, they shouldn't waste time and contact the doctor immediately.
