CWG Medal Tally - India remain on 6th spot after 4 medals on August 2

India's bagged 4 medals on the fifth day of the Commonwealth Games 2022. The women's fours team won the historic gold medal in Lawn Balls and the men's table tennis team also won the gold medal for the second time in a row.

India got a silver medal in the mixed event of badminton, while in weightlifting, Vikas Thakur won a silver medal for the country.

India now has a total of 13 medals and the Indian team is at the sixth position in the medal tally. The number one position of the medal tally is still with Australia, which has now won 106 medals in this tournament. England is at number two with 86 medals. New Zealand is at number three and Canada is at number four. South Africa remains on the fifth position above India.
