CWG India's Day 5 schedule : After a blockbuster Day 4, India will eye a successful end to Day 5 as well at Birmingham 2022.
While the team will have 6 medal finishing matches, 3 medals are confirmed for the Indian contingent in Badminton, Table Tennis, and Lawn Bowls.
India will begin their campaign on Day 5 with Pair Round & Triples Round matches in Lawn Bowl starting at 1 pm. India’s Punam Yadav will fight for a medal in the 76 kg category in weightlifting starting at 2 pm. Apart from Yadav, Usha Bannaur & Vikas Thakur will also battle it out for the podium finish later in the day.

M Sreeshankar, Muhammad Anees Yahiya will also look to grab a spot in the next round when they participate in the Men's Long Jump qualifying round at 2.30 pm. Women’s fours Gold medal match against South Africa is scheduled to take place at 4.15, following that the Table Tennis men’s team final against Singapore will take place starting at 6 pm.
The Badminton mixed team who will also be in contention for a podium finish will play against Malaysia from 10 pm. Meanwhile, the Hockey women’s Team will face England in their Pool A match starting at 6.30 pm.
In squash, Sunayna Sara Kuruvilla & Saurav Ghosal will play in the semi-finals later in the day. Rohit Tokas will be the only boxer fighting on Day 5. He will participate in the 63.5kg-67 kg welterweight in the round of 16 - Rohit Tokas 11.45 pm onwards
