SpaceX's Inspiration4 mission, comprising of the first all-civilian crew to be ever launched into Earth's orbit, saw its four crew members splashing back off Florida's coast on Saturday.
SpaceX's Crew Dragon capsules, dubbed as Resilience, parachuted into the sea around 7 p.m. EDT, shortly before sunset, after an automated re-entry descent back to Earth.
Notably, the descent involving a plunge through Earth's atmosphere generated frictional heat that sent temperatures around the capsules soaring to 1,927 degrees Celsius. The astronauts' flight suits are designed to keep them cool if the cabin heats up.

Upon safe return of the crew members, SpaceX, the private rocketry company founded by Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted - 'Splashdown! Welcome back to planet Earth, @Inspiration4x!'
The Inspiration4 team had blasted off on Wednesday from the Kennedy Space Center marking the farthest any human has flown from Earth since NASA's Apollo moon program.
