Defender Diego Llorente rejoined the Spanish team after testing negative for Covid-19.

Spain’s preparations for Europe’s biggest national soccer tournament were thrown off this week after captain Sergio Busquets and defender Diego Llorente both tested positive.

Llorente, however, rejoined the team on Friday after his 4 consecutive tests came back negative, likely indicating that his initial positive result was erroneous.

Spain will play Sweden in Seville on Monday in its opening Euro 2020 match.
