Sony has launched its latest flagship range of noise-canceling headphones, the WH-1000XM4. They come with the same dual microphones and QN1 noise-cancelling chipset as its predecessor but have a new SoC that samples music and ambient noise 700 times per second. There’s Adaptive Sound Control that can learn and apply a custom sound mode for different locations and a new Speak-to-Chat feature that automatically pauses the music when the user starts speaking or when he takes the headphones off. The headphones also support gesture controls, Google's Fast Pair feature and can be paired with two devices simultaneously. They get a claimed battery life of over 30 hours with active noise cancellation on. The Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones cost $350 and are expected to make Indian debut in September.
