Sony launches its first true wireless earphones for the Indian market

Sony has officially made its entry into the true wireless earphone market in India, launching it's WF-SP800N and WF-XB700 earphones. The XB700 earphones have been introduced in the affordable range at ₹9,990, and they offer Sony's Extra Bass technology, an IPX4 water resistance rating, up to 18 hours of battery life, and a powered carrying case. The SP800N earphones on the other hand, are the premium buy, at ₹18,990. They've been targeted at athletes, with sports-focused features like an IP55 rating, active noise cancellation, gesture controls and a claimed battery life of 18 hours along with the carrying case. Both earphones also provide up to an hour of usage with just 10 minutes of charging, and go on sale from June 26.
