Sony has officially postponed its upcoming PlayStation 5 livestream, where it planned to showcase gameplay from it's next-gen console. Scheduled for June 4, the firm said in a tweet that it did "not feel that right now is a time for celebration", and that for now it would rather "stand back and allow more important voices to be heard". Sony had tweeted in support of the #BlackLivesMatter movement on June 1, denouncing "systemic racism and violence against the Black community". Protests have been taking place across the United States and other parts of the world ever since the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police officers a week ago.
