England's Ollie Robinson who was hemmed in controversies for his decade-old racist and sexist comments a month back felt that he would not get a chance to play for his country again.

The England seamer however was handed only an 8-match ban by the England and Wales Cricket Board. After Robinson apologised and completed his suspension term, he got a call-up for the 5 match Test series against India, where in the first match itself the 27-year-old picked up his first 5 wicket haul.

Confessing his fears about his career, Robinson said that if he would have been banned for a couple of years someone else would have come in and taken his place. Robinson also said that the past weeks were the toughest time in his life and he is now looking to move forward.
