Skoda Auto India has begun deliveries of the new Kushaq with the 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine. The new compact SUV was launched in June this year with the 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre TSI engine options. While the deliveries for the 1.0 TSI version began soon after the launch, the Kushaq 1.5 TSI rolls out of the showrooms only now. The 1.5-litre TSI EVO engine on the Kushaq develops 148 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG gearbox. The motor also comes with active cylinder technology that will shutdown two cylinders at low speeds to improve fuel efficiency. The Skoda Kushaq 1.5 TSI range starts from Rs. 15.80 lakh, going up to Rs. 17.60 lakh (ex-showroom, India)
