Skin rashes are common among those who test positive for Covid-19, according to a new study conducted by King's College London researchers.
The study states that sometimes these manifestations may be the first and only sign of Covid-19.
Recognising these unusual skin rashes could be helpful in identifying cases missed while focusing only on the core symptoms of the virus.
According to the study, 17% of SARS-CoV-2-positive cases reported skin rashes as the first presentation.
