Shashi Tharoor bats for Rahul Gandhi as PM

Senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor told news agency PTI in an interview that Rahul Gandhi has all the right qualities to make an "excellent" prime minister. He added that the PM candidate is likely to be decided after the 2019 polls collectively by Congress and its allies. Tharoor also said the recent assembly poll results made it clear that the Congress was the only alternative with a pan-India presence.
