Sensex sees 1,000 point slide for the week as Banks & IT crack

Markets slid to the lowest point in closing trade, with the Sensex cracking 1,000 points for the week and the Nifty down more than 2.5 % . The big losers through the week included names likes Infy, ONGC, Yes Bank and IndusInd Bank .
