Even as the JEE (Mains) exams are on and NEET is scheduled for September 13, the Supreme Court will today hear a review petition filed by the ministers of six opposition-ruled states. Six states have sought a review of the top court's decision to hold the medical and engineering admission exams amid the Covid pandemic. After the exams were deferred twice, the Supreme Court, on August 17, had rejected petitions from 11 students to defer the exams. Several states and political leaders had backed the students' demand citing Covid and floods.
