SC gives CVC 2 weeks to probe CBI chief Verma

The Supreme Court has given 2 weeks to the Central Vigilance Commissioner to complete probe against CBI chief Alok Verma. The curt said that the probe will be under supervision of a retired SC judge. CBI chief had challenged govt order sending him on forced leave. The court also said that interim CBI director Nageswara Rao will not take any policy decision and will only do routine work.
