Samsung shipped the most phones in Q3 2021, despite chip shortage: Canalys

Korean tech giant Samsung came out on top in Q3 2021 with the most phones shipped globally, according to data from Canalys.

Reports say Samsung grabbed 23% of the global market share despite a 6% market decline due to the ongoing chip shortage.

Meanwhile, Apple came in second at 15% thanks to a year-on-year uptick of 3%, and Xiaomi grabbed third place with 14%.
