So let's just get down to it--what does it offer, and is it any good?

Well, for starters it gets a 6.7-inch full-HD+ super AMOLED panel, with a hole-punch intrusion as opposed to a waterdrop or u-shaped notch. The colours are bright, especially if you set the display settings to 'Vivid', and watching content on this screen is certainly an enjoyable experience. That experience is slightly marred by the absence of stereo speakers, with only a single-firing unit at the bottom, but on the plus side, unlike the flagship, this version does come with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

There's an in-display fingerprint sensor below the screen as well, which works fast enough in my opinion and recognises your prints even if you don't always manage to cover the sensor entirely. Bezels are slim too, and there is a pre-applied plastic screen protector.

The design on the outside is pretty nice, but you do see where Samsung has cut costs as well—the back is in Samsung’s “Glastic” finish, which throws up nice shades in this Aura Red variant we received. The lack of glass points to another cost-cutting method: no wireless charging. To be fair, that’s a feature that isn’t prevalent at this price point, so I don’t think it’s a big miss, but an IP rating for dust and water resistance on the Note10 Lite would’ve been a welcome first for this segment.
