After Bukayo Saka, along with Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho, missed penalties in England's Euro final shoot-out defeat on Sunday night, their social media feeds were quickly filled with racially abusive posts.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson condemned the abuse and said that this England team deserve to be lauded as heroes and not racially abused on social media. Those responsible for this appalling abuse should be ashamed of themselves, Johnson added.

England's players have taken a knee before games at the Euros to highlight the fight against racial inequality.
